HE'S A BOY. D: Once again, I show one of Jade's characters to my little sisters, and they think he's a girl. He's a boy. That's just how I do eyelashes! O-okay?! D': *Wails*
A prize for =Jadey-Chan, since she got the most answers right on a questionare thing about me. 8D I only had one picture for reference when I was drawing this. I'm sorry if I missed something~. (Besides his cigarette, I know I missed that. ACCIDENT. D: ) [link] <-- That's all I had. God. I love how the coloring came out. I didn't know I could watercolor this well. I was coloring his hair and it came out way too light brown, so I had to add black to make it, like, darker. Sadly, that just made black streaks instead. But... I still think he looks pretty cool with it. 8D I'm happy with how the focal point came out. 8D Do you know what the focal point is? Well. Yes, I too love the way watercolors can do that. 8D I personally don't use much wrist movement when I'm watercoloring; I've been watercoloring for about a year now and I noticed that I actually move my fingers more, since I don't rest my brush on my hand (like I do with a pencil). It allows my brush strokes to be more free and I think that's what makes my watercolor pictures look more natural and not "coloring-in-the-lines-perfect". :3
Of course I don't mind, I'm actually flattered~. ://>
